Facilities in Houston and around Wasilla lease our emergency kitchen trailers, adding warewashing trailers and cold storage containers when the dish room or walk-in is out as well. Planned upgrades, new construction, and emergency closures each get the same options: short-term weekly rentals or long-term monthly leases. Hospital food services, campus dining, county jails, base dining halls, resorts, and golf clubs are the kitchens we support most. Our team plans the delivery route, the parking spot, and the utility hookups with you before the trailer leaves. Check trailer availability for Houston and request your quote now.
Houston, AKFact sheet
Houston is a small city: under 10,000 people. Same trailers, same starting prices as a big city.
T.1Delivery
Houston is more than 230 straight-line miles from Fairbanks, Alaska's largest city, so a closed kitchen here rarely has a backup nearby. We plan the route, the arrival window, and any oversize-load timing before the trailer leaves, and book early when a renovation date is set.
The same plan covers the rest of Matanuska-Susitna Borough, including unincorporated areas near Houston.
T.2Units
Starting monthly prices are the same in every location. Compare all mobile kitchen trailers or see every rental price.

Items marked RECORD come from public FEMA data; items marked SCENARIO are planning examples, not past jobs.
Record FEMA lists 12 major disaster declarations since 2000 covering Matanuska-Susitna Borough, which includes Houston. The most recent is severe storm (DR-4904), declared April 7, 2026. Events like that can cut power for days, which spoils walk-in inventory and closes hospital and school kitchens. An emergency refrigeration trailer holds product while a mobile kitchen trailer keeps meals going.
Record FEMA Public Assistance funded “Distribution System Damages” (utilities, $2,207,595) after the winter storm declared March 14, 2022 (DR-4646). Public rebuilding projects also bring crews who need meals. A mobile kitchen with a dish trailer can feed them on site.
Record FEMA Public Assistance also funded “MSB School District Facilities” (buildings and equipment, $303,141) after DR-4646. When a public building is repaired, its kitchen is often part of the job. A temporary kitchen trailer and a dish trailer keep meals going through the renovation.
During a declared emergency in Houston, Alaska, Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and local officials direct public relief logistics, staging, and road access. Our deliveries are separate private arrangements: we confirm the route, site entrance, and placement with you and follow any access limits officials publish.
Budget from $1,895 a month for emergency cold storage, $4,995 for a dish trailer, and $4,995 for a full kitchen trailer. These starting rates apply in every location we serve. Delivery, setup, pickup, utilities, and permits are quoted for your address. See every unit's starting price.

T.5Terms
What every rental includes, wherever the site is. A quote covers equipment, delivery, setup, and pickup for your address. Starting rates are the same in Houston as everywhere else; delivery is quoted by distance from Fairbanks, about 230 straight-line miles away. We rent to commercial, institutional, and industrial sites only, not for residential use. An inquiry doesn't reserve equipment; availability is confirmed per project.
1 week or monthly: short-term rentals or long-term leases.
Phones answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, emergencies included.
Overall about 5 hours for kitchen and dishwashing trailers, about 1 hour for other units. Stairs: 5 to 15 minutes when stairs are needed. Ramp: 4 to 6 hours when a ramp is needed.
Scheduled for your site and confirmed in the quote. GPS tracking possible on request.
T.6Why us
A closed kitchen doesn't cancel lunch. Patients, students, residents, and crews still expect meals on time, so the temporary setup has to cook, wash, and keep food cold from day one.
01
We plan the unit, route, and placement on the first call, which cuts the time from call to first meal.
02
A person answers the phone at any hour, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
03
Sizing, utilities, delivery, setup, and pickup run through one team.
04
Short-term and long-term terms on the same simple basis: by the week or by the month.
05
Every unit page lists its equipment, so you know what's inside before delivery.
06
Access routes, stairs or ramps, and hookups are agreed in advance.
No surprises: published equipment lists, a starting monthly price on every unit, setup times stated up front, and a staffed 24/7 phone line. We work with hospitals, nursing homes, schools and universities, correctional facilities, government and military sites, hotels, resorts, and caterers.
24/7 emergency line
A fire, flood, or failed hood can close a kitchen overnight. Call any hour with your address, meals per day, when the kitchen went down, and the power and water on site.
T.7FAQ
Yes. Houston, AK is inside our nationwide service area. Delivery timing and cost depend on your exact address, the unit, and site access, and both are confirmed in your quote. We have no local office; trailers come to your site.
The same starting prices apply here as everywhere else we serve: kitchens from $4,995 per month, dishwashing trailers from $4,995, and refrigeration from $1,895. Delivery, setup, and pickup are quoted for your address.
Call (888) 385-5513, 24/7. We'll check which kitchen trailers are available for your site, confirm your power and water, and give a delivery time once availability is confirmed. A refrigerated trailer can ride on the same delivery if your walk-in is down too.
Electrical service, potable water, and a wastewater plan. Our standard kitchens list 220V single-phase service at 200 to 220 amps; each unit page shows its own requirement. Wastewater goes to a sewer connection or to holding and pump-out, depending on the site.
Yes. A common layout pairs a kitchen trailer with a dishwashing trailer and a refrigerated trailer, placed so staff can move between them. We plan the footprint, power, and water for all of them together.
Match it to volume. A 22 to 26 ft low-temperature push-through trailer handles moderate service; 30 and 38 ft conveyor trailers handle hospital, campus, and correctional volume. The 30 ft conveyor trailer needs three-phase power.
